Telford MP to host first ‘A Pint with your MP’ community event this April

Shaun Davies, member of Parliament for Telford, is hosting his first ‘Pint with your MP’ event at a local pub in Telford, inviting residents to share their ideas, raise concerns and a chance to speak directly with their Member of Parliament.
The event, taking place on the 18th of April, aims to encourage open discussions on local or national issues, in a more relaxed, informal setting.
Telford’s MP has constituently brought the community together through a wide range of local events, ensuring residents have frequent chance to engage directly with their elected representative. This latest event forms part of his ongoing effort to ensure local voices are heard at the highest levels of Government.
As of March 2026, Shaun has now supported over 10,000 constituents with casework on a range of issues, including housing, education, safer communities, local health services, and support for local veterans.
Shaun commented, “This event is about being genuinely accessible to the community and continuing to deliver for local residents.
“It’s a first for me, but by hosting it in a local pub, I hope to create a relaxed space, encouraging an open conversation that brings in many different voices”
Discussing a previous engagement event hosted by the MP, Cindy, a Telford resident commented “It was fantastic to meet my MP for the first time ever today. I’m a new resident of Telford, and it was important for me to speak to Shaun, who was very approachable.
“MPs are usually seen as being active in Westminster, but it is fantastic to have the opportunity to meet Shaun here in Telford. If you have something to raise, I’d say go for it. I didn’t know what to expect.”
Residents are encouraged to book a time slot so Shaun can hear from many people. Bookings can be made at this link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/HdMs38QrDt.
