Oswestry residents are invited to attend the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, 27 April.
This year’s theme is ‘No Wrong Door – finding support for those who need it most’, reflecting the council’s commitment to supporting local people.
The meeting will be led by Mayor of Oswestry Cllr Rosie Radford, who volunteers with local food sharing causes.
Representatives from Oswestry Community Action, Oswestry & Borders Foodbank, Shropshire Council and other local organisations will share what they are doing to help, discuss the challenges facing the town, talk about the support available and how we can all work together to make a difference.
This is not a formal council meeting, it’s a chance for the community to come together, hear what is happening, be part of the conversation and help shape ideas for the future.
The Annual Town Meeting is at the Guildhall at 6.30pm on Monday 27 April 2026.
