Bridgnorth Town Council is inviting residents, businesses, and community organisations to have their say on its draft Community Strategic Plan for 2026–2029.

Bridgnorth Town Council launches consultation on Draft Community Strategic Plan

The plan sets out the Council’s proposed priorities and ambitions for the next three years, covering key areas such as community wellbeing, local services, the environment, and the town’s future development. The consultation provides an important opportunity for the community to help shape these priorities and ensure the plan reflects local needs and aspirations.

The draft plan is now available to view on the Town Council’s website, where residents can also complete an online survey to share their feedback.

In addition, the Council will be hosting a series of drop-in consultation sessions, giving people the opportunity to speak directly with members of Bridgnorth Town Council’s team. The sessions will be held in the Annex, College House, 4 St. Leonards Close Bridgnorth on the following dates and times:

- Friday, 8th May, 10 am-3.15 pm

- Thursday, 14th May, 10 am–5 pm

- Wednesday, 20th May, 3 pm–7.30 pm

Residents are welcome to attend at any time during these sessions to ask questions, discuss the proposals, and provide their views.

The consultation will close on 31st May 2026, after which all feedback will be reviewed and used to inform the final version of the plan.

Mayor, Councillor David Cooper, said: “This plan will help shape the future direction of our town over the next three years, and it is vital that it reflects the views of our community. I would encourage everyone—residents, businesses, and local groups—to take the time to review the draft and share their thoughts. Your input will play a key role in ensuring we deliver the right priorities for our town.”
