Furrows Shrewsbury and Telford dealerships are hosting a fundraising initiative later this week, inviting Shropshire motorists to help raise vital funds for Severn Hospice simply by getting behind the wheel.

Furrows to host charity test drive supporting Severn Hospice

The dealerships are set to host a unique charity test drive event on Friday, 15th May. The event will take place at Love2Stay resort in Shrewsbury, offering a relaxed environment for drivers to experience the latest in automotive technology whilst supporting a cherished local cause.

For every test drive completed during the event in one of Ford’s electric or hybrid vehicles, Ford will donate £30 directly to Severn Hospice. This local charity provides specialist care and support to thousands of people living with incurable illnesses across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.

A Furrows spokesperson said, "We are delighted to bring the community together for such a worthwhile cause. It’s a rare opportunity to explore the future of driving while directly benefiting the incredible work done by the Severn Hospice team."

Drivers will have the chance to trial an impressive line-up of cutting-edge vehicles, including Ford Puma, Ford Puma Gen-E, Explorer, Capri, Mach-E, Kuga PHEV, Ranger PHEV and E-Transit Custom.

The event highlights Ford’s commitment to electrification, and as a gesture of appreciation, Furrows is treating every participant to a complimentary "coffee and cake" voucher, redeemable at the Love2Stay café.
