Telford man given driving ban as part of clampdown on car cruising
A man has been handed a driving ban as part of a major clampdown on car cruising in Shropshire after police discovered footage of him driving dangerously.

Mohamad Almustafa, of Kingsland in Telford, pleaded guilty on Monday, 18 May, at Telford Magistrates Court to one count of dangerous driving as part of Operation Chicane.
The court heard how in March officers discovered videos showing the 23-year-old driving his BMW dangerously in Halesfield in Telford.
Following an investigation between roads policing officers and safer neighbourhood teams, Almustafa was identified as the driver and sent a Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP). He was later charged with dangerous driving.
Today he was given a 12-month driving ban, as well as a 12-month community order and told he must complete 180 hours of unpaid work.
PC Mark Smith, from the roads policing team, said: “This kind of reckless driving puts innocent road users at real risk, and Almustafa’s behaviour showed a complete disregard for the safety of others.
"By sharing and celebrating dangerous driving online, he contributed to a culture that endangers communities, puts lives at risk, and damages the reputation of responsible motorists.
"Thanks to the joint work of our roads policing officers and safer neighbourhood teams, we were able to identify him quickly and bring this case before the courts.
"The conviction is part of our ongoing efforts to tackle antisocial and dangerous driving through Operation Chicane. We hope it sends a clear message that dangerous driving will be thoroughly investigated and dealt with robustly.”
