New trader joins Shrewsbury Market Hall
A new trader selling a range of giftware and ornamental home and garden products is the latest to join the line-up at Shrewsbury Market Hall. Pengarreg Products, run by Sarah Kendall, opened on July 9.
A vast selection of products are on offer including; giftware, weather vanes, clocks, wall art, and other ornamental items from slate, wrought iron, acrylics, ABS, wood and stone.
Pengarreg Products also offers a range of outdoor signs in plastic, metal and vinyl for domestic and business use.
More than 90 per cent of products are manufactured directly by Pengarreg at its Newtown factory which also supplies a wide variety of shops and businesses in the UK.
Miss Kendall, 39, from Montgomery in Wales said: “We are really excited to be opening at the Market Hall, our previous location was a bit quiet so it’s great to be joining somewhere so busy. There is also no one else quite like us in town so we are hoping to bridge that gap. We make most of our products ourselves locally, nothing is imported, and we keep our carbon footprint down by using a lot of recycled and reclaimed materials. We can custom make items too, depending on what the customer wants and an engraving service is also available.”
Kate Gittins, site facilities manager at Shrewsbury Market Hall added: “It’s great to welcome yet another new trader to the market, which is now almost at full capacity. The Market Hall is fast becoming the place to be for both shoppers and traders alike. We have a fantastic array of products on offer from the traditional fruit and veg to specialised foods, vintage wares and now, of course, beautifully crafted, and locally manufactured, home and garden products from Pengarreg.”
Pengarreg Products is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 9am until 4pm. For more information log on to www.penplas.co.uk, call 07432 660792 or email sales@penplas.co.uk
