A yoga studio in Shrewsbury is opening its doors to Shropshire’s first multibed acupuncture clinic in a bid to make the ancient practice borne from Chinese medicine more affordable to the local community.

Shropshire’s first multibed acupuncture clinic opens in Shrewsbury

Jenna Blair Yoga, located in Belle Vue, is teaming up with Green Rose Acupuncture and Cherry Orchard Acupuncture to offer their services to treat a variety of conditions, such as pain, stress, anxiety, and digestive issues.

The multibed clinic offers a space where several people will be treated together, in two adjoining rooms on the first floor of Jenna Blair Yoga, helping to keep costs lower by treating a number of people at one time.

Studio owner Jenna Blair said: “Quality acupuncture can be costly, particularly if you require a course of treatment, meaning it’s not always accessible to everyone that needs it. Our multibed offering, which takes acupuncture back to its traditional Eastern roots where the treatment was often offered as a group, allows us to keep prices affordable while still providing high-quality service. The treatment room will be separated by screens to ensure privacy and confidentiality within the space.

“Yoga and acupuncture are hugely complementary practices, both of which I’m very passionate about. Together they can be powerful in supporting our overall health and wellbeing as well as treating targeted conditions so I’m delighted to be welcoming Green Rose Acupuncture and Cherry Orchard Acupuncture to our treatment rooms at Jenna Blair Yoga."
