New name but same values for Shropshire financial planning firm

Oswestry-based Better World Financial Planning has evolved into Una Vita to reflect its belief that good financial planning is essential to helping its clients make the most out of their lives.

Founder Alasdair Coutts-Britton said the change of name underlined the business’s commitment to guiding clients towards financial freedom.

“Una Vita means One Life and that’s what lies at the heart of everything we do,” said Alasdair.

“We only get one chance at life so it’s vital we make it count. We help our clients map their journey to financial independence so that they work because they want to, not because they have to.”

Alasdair, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the sector - including ten in the City of London - said the key to Una Vita’s success was its combination of honest, straightforward advice and a highly personalised approach.

“We provide full lifestyle financial planning which looks at all aspects of your life and comes up with a plan based entirely on your unique circumstances. There is nothing off-the-peg or ready-made about any of the advice we offer.

“The aim is to ensure that you have the resources to live the life you want to live.

“That begins with sitting down together, exploring what you truly want from life and assessing what is achievable. Each plan is built on that honest foundation and evolves as circumstances change.

“At all stages we strive to give clients clarity, with jargon-free, clear answers and a proper plan which gives peace of mind and as much certainty about the future as is possible.

“That’s why we say that we don’t just plan your finances, we map your route to freedom.”
