Police have today issued a CCTV image of a woman they are trying to trace in connection with an enquiry in relation to an assault.

CCTV appeal launched to establish identity of woman in Telford

The woman, who is possibly aged in her 30's, is believed to have information in connection with the matter, which police are looking into.

Police are now eager to trace the woman.

She is described as a white female, around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and aged in her early 30's. She has long light brown hair.

A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "Police are conducting an enquiry in relation to an assault and police believe this person pictured may be able to assist.

"We really need help to identify this woman, who is believed to have witnessed an incident and have information that could be vital to our enquiries.

"It is imperative that we speak to her so we would appeal for her to come forward.

"If you recognise her or know who she is, then we would also urge you to come forward and speak to us."

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the woman is asked to contact Police Constable Elizabeth Goldingay on 0300 333 3000.
