Two charged with the murder of Ismaaeel Rehman
Police officers who are re-investigating the events surrounding a serious assault that occurred more than two years ago, have this morning confirmed that two of the three men arrested on Tuesday morning were charged with murder last night.

The serious assault occurred on Powis Place in Dawley sometime between 11.30pm on Thursday 16 July and 3am on Friday 17 July 2009, and as a result of this incident a 22-year-old man - Ismaaeel Rehman from Dudley - suffered serious head injuries.
Sadly, although he made a brave recovery following the incident, on Saturday 1 January 2011 Mr Rehman, aged 24, died suddenly in the West Midlands. Detailed pathological tests have linked Mr Rehman's death back to underlying health problems caused by the 2009 assault.
West Mercia immediately re-opened the investigation into the original assault and it has since been reclassified as a murder investigation.
Speaking about the latest development in this investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Neil Jamieson said:
"I can confirm that two 23-year-old men were charged with murder last night and will be appearing at Telford Magistrates Court this morning. The third man arrested on suspicion of murder - a 24-year-old - has been bailed pending further enquiries.
"The two women - one aged in her 20s and the other her late teens - who were arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of perverting the course of justice remain on police bail at the present time.
"Although two men have been charged we still remain keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have any information about this incident, no matter how insignificant it might seem.
"Anyone who believes they do have information that could aid our investigation is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 - the force's new non emergency telephone number - or call 0300 333 3000.
"Alternatively, please remember that information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you'd rather not get directly involved yourself."
