Police name north Shropshire crash victims
Police today named the two men who died when their car crashed in north Shropshire on Monday night.
Gareth Tyson, aged 23, of The Grove, Hodnet and Jack Speight, aged 22, of Shropshire Street, Market Drayton both died when the black VW Golf GT TDi driven by Mr Tyson lost control and left the A442 near Hodnet at around 10.40pm.
Police are still continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the tragedy. They have renewed an appeal for witnesses who saw the actual collision or the car being driven immediately beforehand.

An inquest was opened by the Shropshire coroner Mr John Ellery this afternoon. After hearing evidence of identification, he adjourned the hearing to a future date.
