Woman injured during attempted robbery in Shawbirch
Detectives have appealed for witnesses after a woman was pulled from her mobility scooter and hit several times by a man in Telford.

The victim was in the wooded area off Oakfield Road at about 2.40pm yesterday when she was approached by the offender, who asked her for money.
When she refused, he became aggressive and pulled her off her scooter onto the floor, searching her pockets before punching and kicking her while she was on the ground.
He then made off from the scene empty-handed and the woman dialled 999, with police then alerted by the ambulance service.
Officers arrived within five minutes and an extensive search was carried out of the area but the offender was not found.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries, including some small puncture wounds to her leg, although it is not known what they were caused by.
Detective Sergeant Matt Gibbons, who is leading the investigation, said CCTV was being examined and house to house enquiries being carried out. Forensic officers also attended to examine the scene.
"The offender was a white man in his 30s or 40s, about 5ft 8in in height and of stocky build," said DS Gibbons.
"He had shaved brown hair, freckles on his nose and cheek area, stubble and was wearing dark blue jeans and a black hooded Nike top with the ‘tick' emblem on the chest.
"If anyone knows who he is or saw anybody matching this description in the Oakfield Road or wider Shawbirch area that afternoon, please contact police on 101."
