Witness appeal following sexual assault in Shawbirch
Police in Telford are appealing for witnesses after a sexual assault is reported to have occurred in a wooded area just off Tee Lake Boulevard in Shawbirch on Sunday.
Some time between 1pm and 4.30pm, it has been reported that a girl in her teens was the victim of a sexual assault.
The girl had been walking with the male youth that assaulted her prior to the incident and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a young woman and young man near this wooded area on the afternoon in question.
The victim believes she did pass several dog walkers while she was with the youth and therefore police are keen to trace any of these dog walkers as soon as they can.

A 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection with this incident and he has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
