Five arrested following burglary incidents in Shropshire
Five males, including two juveniles, have been arrested on suspicion of two separate burglary incidents in the north and south of Shropshire.

Three teenagers, two of them aged 16 and the other aged 19, were arrested shortly after reports of an attempted burglary in Joyce Way, Whitchurch at about 9.30pm on Tuesday 12th February.
A householder reported disturbing three youths in dark clothing by his garage and, following a search by police, the three suspects were arrested nearby.
And in Dunval Road, Bridgnorth, police received several calls from members of the public about two men acting suspiciously and apparently looking into houses at about 11am on Wednesday 13th February. There had been previous incidents of burglary in the area several days beforehand.
On arrival, police arrested two men on suspicion of burglary and attempted burglary.
All of those arrested were interviewed and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Pete Brophy, head of Shropshire’s pro-active Burglary Team, said the force’s Citadel initiative to tackle burglary was continuing to have an impact.
“Burglary remains a stop priority for West Mercia Police and as a result, following calls from the public, in both these incidents officers were quickly dispatched and suspects arrested shortly after their arrival,” he said.
“I can’t over-estimate the importance of the public calling us with information. As in both cases above, when suspicious activity is reported, we will respond and it does play a major role in helping us tackle crime.”
