Power tools stolen from Dorrington workshop
Power tools worth more than £5,000 have been stolen in a raid on a workshop at Dorrington, near Shrewsbury.

Police are appealing for witnesses or information about the burglary which happened between 1pm and 7pm on Tuesday.
A vehicle would have been used to carry the stolen goods and officers investigating the incident believe villagers may be able to help.
“We want people to cast their minds back to Tuesday afternoon and early evening and if they saw anything suspicious which might be connected, to contact Shrewsbury police station on 101,” said a West Mercia Police spokesperson.
“This is a high value crime and we would also urge anyone offered power tools on the cheap in dubious circumstances, to also contact the police.”
The haul of tools included a Makita planer, two Makita circular saws, a scaffolding electric hoist, a Makita drill, a tyre inflation pump, a Stihl hedgecutter, a strimmer, a Makita disc cutter and a Stihl chainsaw.
The workshop is situated at the back of the victim’s home in Dorrington. Its door was forced to gain entry.
“We would welcome any assistance which might help us identify those responsible,” added the police spokesperson.
Information can also be passed to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
