Appeal after attempted robbery in Hadley
Police in Telford are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in Hadley.

The incident occurred as the intended victim – a 20-year-old man – walked along Haybridge Road in Hadley early on Saturday.
At around 6.20am, as the intended victim approached the industrial estate he was approached by an unknown man who immediately demanded he hand over his phone and his money.
The victim walked away from the man but the man pushed him in the back and again asked for money and his phone.
The victim again refused to hand them over but this time he crossed the road to get away from the offender. Although the offender did shove the intended victim in the back one last time, he was then forced to flee the scene on foot without taking anything from the victim.
The man who tried to carry out this robbery is described as being white, aged around 40, as having a skinny build and being around 5ft 8inches tall. He is also described as having a shaved head and as wearing a grey t-shirt.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident but are particular keen to trace the driver of a black car that drove past the victim as this incident was taking place. In addition, officers are also keen to trace two females who were seen speaking to the offender at around the same time.
Anyone who believes they may have information about this incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 72N 270713.
Alternatively, please remember that Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 088 555 111 if you’d rather pass on information without identifying yourself.
