Police are appealing for information about a burglary in Telford in which a quantity of cash was stolen.

Cash stolen during burglary on Telford industrial estate

It happened at about 6.45pm on Thursday, 16th January, at a unit on Hortonwood 66, part of the Hortonwood industrial estate.

A member of staff found three men in a first floor office. They said they wanted to talk to someone about a job but were escorted off the premises.

It was later discovered that £325 petty cash was missing from one of the desk drawers.

The men are described as all in their late 20s. One was Asian, about 6ft tall, and of skinny build, and the other two were white, about 5ft 8ins in height and of medium build. All were wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information are asked to contact PC Ben Wright at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 631-s-160114, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
