Driver cut free after vehicle leaves the road in Prees

A driver man was cut free from his car after it came to rest in a field off the A41 at Prees this morning.

The incident occurred just after 5.30am, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Crews from Prees and Whitchurch, the Recue Tender and support pump from Wellington and an officer from Shrewsbury attended the scene.

The driver was cut free from the vehicle using Holmatro cutting equipment.

They were taken to hospital via ambulance.
