Detectives are appealing for help to trace a Telford man who is wanted for recall to prison and now believe he maybe with his family.

Wanted Telford man's family now missing

James Delaney has been recalled to prison by the probation service for breaking the terms of his licence following his release last year on 5 December.

The 27-year-old has served time in prison after being convicted of robbery in the Birmingham area in 2011.

Sergeant Kevin Jones said:

"We are keen to trace James Delaney as soon as possible and would ask the public not to approach him if they see him, but to call police.

“It is believed that Mr Delaney may be with his 25-year-old partner and their children, and there is growing concern for their welfare. As such the children are now being treated as missing by Telford Police and a missing person investigation has been launched.

"Delaney is believed to be in the Sparkbrook or Moseley area of Birmingham. Officers from West Mercia Police are actively carrying out inquiries to find him but we'd also urge anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us."

Anyone who sees Delaney should call West Mercia Police by dialling 101. Please quote incident number 529S of 23rd September 2014.
