An artist's impression of a possible offender has been released by police following a suspected kidnap in Shrewsbury.
The incident was reported to have taken place at 10.30pm on Sunday 6 September in the area of Meadow Farm Drive and Moston Road.
The male victim was assaulted by the offender and placed in the boot compartment of a vehicle believed to be a silver Peugeot 407, bearing a 04 or 54 registration plate.
The vehicle left the scene and was seen a short while later driving down Darville. It is not known where it went from there or what happened to the man in the boot.
The offender is described as a white man, of a noticeably stocky build and over 6 feet tall. He is believed to have spoken in an Eastern European accent.
Last week a 49 year old man from Oswestry was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail until Thursday 8th October whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Mark Jones, of West Mercia Police said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for the man who was being attacked and a number of police enquiries are ongoing to identify the victim, and to ensure he is safe.
"We hope the artist's impression may spark people's memories, particularly when considered alongside the use of a silver or grey Peugeot 407 motor vehicle, and we would urge anyone with any information at all to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident 767s of 6 September.
"Alternatively If you want to give information without giving your name you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit their website"
