CCTV released of man following charity tin theft in Market Dayton

At around 6.10pm on Sunday 3rd January the offender entered Bargain Booze on Towers Lawn in Market Drayton and walked over to the till area of the store, which was at that time unoccupied by staff.

It is then thought the offender picked up an Midlands Air Ambulance charity container and put it inside his zip up jacket. The offender then briefly spoke to the shop assistant who has returned to the till before leaving the store.

If you witnessed the incident or have any information that could help officers with their investigation please call 101 quoting incident number 558s of Friday 8th January.

Alternatively, if you do not feel comfortable speaking directly to the police then you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online via their website. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
