Police are appealing for help in finding a missing Shrewsbury man.

Concern grows for missing 35 year-old Shrewsbury man

Russell Blent, aged 35, has not been seen since the early hours of Thursday 17 March. He was last seen at an address on Moneybrook Way in Meole Brace.

Russell is described as white, around 6ft 1", of heavy build with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a grey jacket and blue and white trainers.

It is thought he may still be in Shrewsbury but he also has links to Bridgnorth.

Russell's family are extremely concerned, as it out of character for him not to be in contact for such a length of time.

Further concerns were raised as he has failed to collect regular medication.

Anyone who has seen Russell or who may have any information about his whereabouts is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101.

Alternatively contact the Missing People charity on 116 000.
