Temporary traffic lights on Limekiln Bank roundabout will be removed tonight – four days ahead of schedule.

The traffic management system will revert back to normal roundabout operations from tomorrow morning, with lane restrictions in place similar to before the traffic signals were installed.

Councillor Angela McClements, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Communities, Regeneration and Transport, said: “We appreciate these temporary traffic lights have caused a lot of disruption to road users, local businesses and residents.

“However, we have worked very closely with our contractor McPhillips to complete the work ahead of schedule.

“We would like to thank everyone affected by the delays for their patience and co-operation while the temporary signals were in place.”
