Shrewsbury greenfield land goes up for sale to developers
A local Chartered Surveyors has been instructed to market a prestigious greenfield site just off the A5 in Shrewsbury.
The sale of the land with one plot at 5.24 acres, the other 2.55 acres will be managed by Towler Shaw Roberts, with the land intended for commercial development.
Toby Shaw, who is handling the sale, said he expects there to be much interest in the two plots available on Welshpool Road, adjacent to the Churncote Island, just off the A5 to the west of the town.
Mr Shaw, a partner at TSR, said: "This is a very high profile site, one of the most prestigious in the Shrewsbury area to come to the market for some time.
"There are two plots for sale which will be for employment usage and it's part of the Sustainable Urban Extension Shrewsbury West programme.
"In terms of its profile, it's a prime site, two parcels of greenfield land either side of the A458, Welshpool Road, and we anticipate a great level of interest."
