Man charged following incident in Ellesmere

A man has been charged following a disorder in Ellesmere on Tuesday night.

Man charged following incident in Ellesmere

John Wellings, aged 35, of Scotland Street, Ellesmere, has been charged with assault on a person causing actual bodily harm, criminal damage to property valued under £5,000, affray, and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

A property was evacuated for around two hours while the incident was ongoing.

Wellings appeared at Telford Magistrates Court this morning.
