As the calendar flips to 2026, marking the traditional time for reflection and self-improvement, Love Wellington is embracing the spirit of renewal with the launch of its "New Year, New You" campaign.

Love Wellington launches 'New Year, New You' campaign

This initiative is designed to support residents in achieving their personal goals while simultaneously championing the diverse range of local businesses, clubs, and organisations that contribute to the town’s overall well-being.

January is widely recognised as the perfect opportunity to set meaningful resolutions for mental and physical betterment. Love Wellington, which aims to help with Wellington’s regeneration, assist local businesses and enhance local civic pride, will be guiding residents through this journey by highlighting the many resources available right on their doorstep.

The campaign will focus on connecting residents with services and opportunities that can help them sustain their New Year's resolutions, all while injecting vitality back into the local High Street, Wellington Market and local businesses and facilities with a ‘post a day’ on social media platforms around this theme throughout January.

Sally Themans of Love Wellington commented: "Whether it’s eating a bit more healthily, trying a new sport or hobby, shopping locally, or recycling more – Love Wellington will be highlighting all that’s on offer in our town through our Love Wellington social media platforms.

"We'll be sharing offers and essential information every day to help you stick to the 'New Year, New You' mantra, whilst giving our valued High Street a much-needed boost. We already have offers ready for January – such as beauticians Bellissimo in the Market Square offering a 10% discount throughout January, and David Cheshire and Donna Miles of Revive Café at Wellington Leisure Centre offering special healthy smoothies and breakfast options."

Key Features of the Campaign

Daily Social Media Spotlights: Regular posts across Love Wellington platforms showcasing local gyms, health food stores, artisan shops, community groups, and sustainable services.

Exclusive Offers: Highlighting special promotions and discounts from businesses tailored to help residents kickstart their resolutions.

Community Connection: Promoting local clubs and organisations that offer new hobbies, skills, or opportunities for social engagement and volunteering.

Love Wellington encourages all residents to follow their social media channels throughout January to discover the wealth of local support available to make 2026 their best year yet.
