Witness appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Shrewsbury

Police in Shrewsbury are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a cyclist on Lancaster Road yesterday, Thursday 5 March.

The collision happened around 4.35 pm when a black Renault Clio and a cyclist collided.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it and from drivers who may have dashcam footage from around the time it happened.
