Bridgnorth residents invited to annual town meeting
Bridgnorth Town Council has issued an invitation to all local residents to attend this evening's annual town meeting.

The meeting will be held at the Castle Hall and is set to commence at 6.30 pm, providing a platform for the community to engage directly with their local representatives.
The evening will feature a comprehensive overview of the Town Council’s activities over the past twelve months, highlighting key achievements and ongoing projects. Beyond reflecting on the past year, councillors will outline their strategic priorities and vision for the town in the year ahead. This session serves as an important bridge between the local authority and the public, ensuring transparency regarding future initiatives and infrastructure plans.
In addition to the council's updates, the meeting will showcase the work of several vital community organisations. Guest speakers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, the Bridgnorth Litter Pickers, and St. Mary’s Church will be in attendance to share insights into their recent contributions to the town. These presentations are intended to provide a broader picture of the collaborative efforts currently being made to improve the local area.
Town Mayor, Councillor David Cooper, said: "The annual town meeting is a valuable opportunity for residents to come together, reflect on what we have achieved as a community over the past year, and look ahead to the future. I encourage everyone to attend, hear from our guest speakers, and take part in the discussion by sharing their views and asking questions."
The floor will be opened for a public question and answer session, allowing attendees to address councillors directly. The council has expressed its hope for a strong turnout, stressing that all residents are welcome to attend this open forum to help shape the direction of the community.
